Fourth Quarter Report on the Mayor and Council Vision Priorities
Recommendation
Staff recommends that the Mayor and Council review the fourth quarter fiscal year 2009 report and direct staff to follow-up on any questions or additional information needs.
Discussion
This quarterly report describes the progress through the fourth quarter fiscal year 2009 on City projects related to the Mayor and Council's vision and priorities:
- Distinct Neighborhoods, One City
- A Cultural Destination
- Green City
- Quality Built Environment
- Exceptional City Services
- Economic Development and Sustainability
- Community Engagement
The cover memo provides highlights about projects in these priority areas. The project tracking sheets show more detailed information, including a list of key project milestones and project schedules Staff from each department will be available during the meeting to answer Mayor and Council questions.
Mayor and Council History
The Mayor and Council adopted a vision for 2020 and Vision Priorities for 2008-2010 in May 2008. Staff prepares updates on projects related to the Mayor and Council's vision and priorities every quarter. The last report was shared in May 2009.
