Discussion
As part of the Mayor and Council comprehensive revision to the City of Rockville Zoning Ordinance, Map Amendment Application MAP2007-00101 was filed to implement the zoning changes to be approved by the eventual adoption of a new zoning ordinance. The current Zoning Ordinance, Section 25-125 provides that a decision on a Map Amendment application must be made within ninety days of the public hearing, unless the Mayor and Council adopt a resolution extending the time for decision for an additional period not exceeding sixty days. The last public hearing on the Map Amendment application was held on June 30, 2008 and the attached resolution provides for a sixty day extension, until November 27, 2008 for decision by the Mayor and Council.
