Burgermeisterin Alheit will be visiting Rockville from May 16-May 22. She and members of her family will be staying with one of the members of the Rockville Sister City Corporation and spending time in Rockville with others as she tours Rockville and places of interest in the greater Washington area.

Pinneberg, Germany has been a Sister City of Rockville for over fifty years. A hallmark of the organization is its program of reciprocal visits. Over the years, members of the City's Sister City Corporation and officials from Rockville have visited Pinneberg and enjoyed the hospitality of the people there. In turn, members of Pinneberg's organization and their elected officials have come to Rockville.
This is the fist time that Burgermesterin Alheit, who was recently elected to office, has visited Rockville.
